This tool makes tying parachute winged flies a breeze. Attach your hackle pliers to the parachute post and attach the parachute tool to the hackle pliers to apply tension.
This tool is also useful for tying extended bodies. Simply tie a piece of monofilament to the back of the hook and use the tool to maintain tension. Then tie your fly onto the monofilament as if it were part of the hook.
Fits all vises with a 3/8" stem.
