With all five species of Pacific salmon and world-class steelhead fishing, they settled on an untamed, uninhabited part of Canada—Babine Lake where the rule of “survival of the fittest” rings true. Their first lodge, The Last Resort, was a very rustic camp with virtually no amenities; the Silver Hilton Steelhead Lodge was the opposite, as they turned it into one of the most exclusive steelhead lodges in the world.
The never-ending struggles, dangers, and successes they experienced along the way makes for a fascinating pioneering adventure. Although some of the events may seem totally unbelievable, they are all true.
