Tungsten Jig nymphs have became popular with European or Czech nymphing enthusiast as a way to get their rig down quickly and prevent hang ups, but they are equally effective using traditional nymphing techniques. Since the fly rides with the hook pointing up it is far less likely to snag on the bottom. The tungsten bead causes this fly to plummet to the bottom very quickly getting it where the fish are lying.
