Closed cell foam has revolutionized fly patterns. It is most known for its use in hoppers, ants, beetles, but it can also be used to make realistic dry flies that are nearly unsinkable.

The foam takes pantone marker ink readily, so it can be easily colored to make your flies even more realistic.
