More Information
A new collection of stories - alternately hair-raising, hilarious, and heart-wrenching - by Terry Grosz, a wildlife conservation law enforcement officer whose heroic career was dedicated to preserving our precious natural resources and wildlife heritage, for our children and our children's children.

In his third book of high-adventure tales, Grosz chronicles his years as a special agent for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, when he left his home state of California and headed off for new horizons and bigger battles. He was posted to the Northern Plains where, cold and wet, he staked out fields to catch landowners draining vital wetlands in the wee hours of the night (and, boy, were they surprised to see him - all six feet four inches, 300 pounds); to Washington, D.C., where he carried the struggle to the halls of bureaucracy and, in one of conservation's greatest triumphs, fought to create the Fish and Wildlife Services's state-of-the-art forensic lab; then he traveled halfway around the world to Asia, where he worked to coordinate conservation laws on an international basis and found himself in the middle of a deadly ambush.

PRAISE FOR For Love of Wildness:
After reading Wildlife Wars, I wondered if Terry Grosz could keep up the pace with a new set of memories and fascinating law enforcement experiences. Not to worry. For Love of Wilness takes you into a world almost never visited by even those of use who love the outdoors. Seldom does one who possesses a depth of knowledge in one field of endeavor, rise to be able to chronicle that knowledge and experience in an entertaining and compelling manner. Grosz has risen above all but a very few professional authors. Don't miss this one!" - Larry Jay Martin, author of The Last Stand

PRAISE FOR Wildlife Wars:
"Terry Grosz's adventures in 32 years of enforcing wildlife law astonish even his fellow wardens, and he tells them in a way that keeps you turning the pages till there aren't any more." - Ted Williams, Editor-at-Large, Audubon Magazine, Conservation Editor, Fly Rod & Reel
