ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Joe Mahler is the author and illustrator of Essential Knots & Rigs for Trout. His articles and illustrations appear in Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, Saltwater Sportsman, and other publications. Mahler is an FFF-certified fly-casting instructor, member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, and is currently president of the Sunshine State Casting Club. He lives in Fort Myers, Florida.
