About the Author
Malcolm R. Burnette
grew up in the mountain community of Bee Tree in Western North Carolina. He spent his youth hunting and fishing and searching for arrowheads in the plowed fields near his home, and in early youth he developed an appreciation and respect for firearms. Throughout their lives he and his wife Jackie have collected firearms ranging from Kentucky rifles to Damascus-barreled percussion shotguns to the Colt revolvers that are the subject of this book. They currently live in Florida and travel frequently to visit their two daughters and their grandchildren and to pursue their collecting hobby
