The Green River has provided insulation from the outside world since its inception. Its sheer walls reverberate with outlaw yarns from years gone rusty, and at its feet are flows so clear you'll swear you can see trout breathe. On the water, Simms’ classic Guide Pant with updated fabric, trim, and mobility-enhancing inseam cuts is ready to step into the verde and make its own history. Features include a mash up of quick-drying, moisture wicking fabric embedded with UPF50 sun protection and a water-resistant finish. Stash a fly box in the convenient cargo hold, while your keys and licenses slip easily into a zippered thigh pocket for all-day safekeeping. The pant’s hidden, adjustable waist is made from brushed tricot for prime moisture management and comfort, while articulated knees make everything from wet wading to casting from the boat deck effortless.

At Simms, sun protection is a critical component of our sportswear offering. Through a combination of fabric construction, design and finish, we offer a wide range of clothing that features a minimum UPF of 30 (very good) up to UPF of 50 (excellent). UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 will allow only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure significantly. All of our UPF finishes last the life of the garment, an industry standard of 30 washings.
