More Information
Rahm Emanuel famously said ?Never let a crisis go to waste,? and the gun haters have embraced his advice with zeal. In the wake of tragic shootings at Newtown, CT, and Aurora, CO, the anti-gun lobby has launched a campaign of lies, distortion, misrepresentation and emotional manipulation that is breathtaking in its vitriol and its denial of basic facts. Their goal: to wipe out our Second Amendment rights and disarm law-abiding citizens in every state.
Emily Miller, senior editor at The Washington Times, sounds the clarion call to all freedom-loving Americans: stand up for your rights before they are gone. Emily?s own personal story of being a single female victim of violent crime who tried to obtain a permit and a gun in Washington, DC, serves as the backdrop (sometimes shocking, sometimes hilarious in its absurdity) for her comprehensive expose of the myths and lies used by those who are more opposed to guns than to preventing violent crime.
The gun rights debate isn?t just about guns. It?s about protecting a fundamental Constitutional right. It?s about politicians who lie, manipulate, and outright break existing laws to get what they want. It?s about a progressive approach to government that wants nothing more than to control you. Not just your guns ? you. Emily Miller says stand up and fight back now ? because your second amendment rights will only be the first to go.
