Let's travel far away
on a wild safari.
There are lots of fun trails!
Many sights to see!
As we hike, hike, hike,
on this wild safari.
With the use of a child's imagination, a grandmother's kitchen transforms into the African terrain, & freshly baked animal cookies come alive to form different animals of the savanna, such as bathing elephants, sloshing hippos, & ostriches who love to strut their feathers.
With rhythm & rhyme from line to line, & bold colors that capture the eyes & the imagination, author Jan Peck & illustrator Valeria Petrone turn learning about new animals into a fun-filled expedition.
