ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
C.W. "Butch" Welch aka "Cee Dub", a native Idahoan, is a Conservation Officer with the Idaho Department of Fish & Game. A twenty plus year veteran of the IDF&G, he's served at various duty stations around the state. The Shikar Safari Club International recognized Welch as the "Wildlife Officer of the Year" in 1994, for meritorious service in the field of wildlife conservation and law enforcement. His stories come from his years in the back country, both in the line of duty as well as in the "line of fun"!
