REVIEW:
"Survival Skills of Native California is a comprehensive guidebook to the living skills, food, hunting, cultural, and other aspects of the lives of Native Californians, from the tip of Baja California to Northern California. An informative, interesting book for anyone wanting to learn about California Indian culture. Photographs, drawings, diagrams to illustrate the book are helpful, especially in the chapter about making arrowheads and found arrowhead artifacts. Campbell, a resident of Southern California and member of the Society of Primitive Technology, is very respectful of his topic and offers much in the way of the philosophy of the people about whom he writes."
--Marilee Reyes from City State
