ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
LARRY LYONS was born in Dowagiac, Michigan, home of the Niedner Rifle Company. He built his first custom rifle at age thirteen and started a wholesale gunstock business at age twenty; since then, he?s been a licensed, practicing gunsmith for thirty-five years. He had a long-running gunsmithing column for Guns & Ammo magazine and a general firearms column for Michigan-Out-Of-Doors; he has also been published in Muzzle Blast, Muzzle Loader, Outdoor Life, and several other magazines. He now lives in Michigan where he is a forest fire fighter, gunsmith, and freelance writer.
