Well known as a lurcher showing & obedience judge, Jackie Drakeford also works, trains, & occasionally breeds her own working lurchers, & is involved in lurcher rescue. Her previous books include The Working Lurcher, Essential Care in the Field, & Essential Care for Dogs. Now based in Sussex, she writes for a number of countryside publications & is a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor & Behaviourist with a special interest in working sight hounds & lurchers.
