ABOUT THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR:
An early childhood spent in southern Minnesota gave Rae McDonald her affinity for water. In her first published children's book, the author shares her experiences ofthe outdoors. Rae likes writing, cooking & gardening & has enjoyed a 25-year career as a school librarian. She and her husband reside in Pullyup, WA, with their daughter.
Kathleen Kemly grew up in Michigan and studied art at Parson's School of Design in New York.
