More Information
Being a fly shop owner, I get asked the same question almost daily - "Do you have a book with a color picture of the fly & a how-to-tie recipe?" Now, we do.
This book will help identify flies by name, provide a complete materials list in the correct order they should be tied on the hook, and give comments on patterns that are traditional to Southern Appalachia & the Smoky Mountains.
I feel that it's imperative to preserve these older traditional patterns that are proven effective in our area. It's just as important to tie them correctly.
