ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Floyd Franke lives & works along the banks of the Beaverkill River in upstate New York where he operates his own guide service, EPHEMERA. He is also an instructor at the Wulff School of Fly Fishing. Floyd is an accomplished fly tier with over 40 national and international awards to his credit. His fly tying creations have appeared in such popular magazines as Fly Fisherman, American Angler, and Fly Fishing. Floyd is a Life member of the Federation of Fly Fishers, a member of the Casting Board of Governors, and a recipient of the NECs Elsie & Harry Darbee Memorial Fly Tying Award. He is author of FISH ON: A guide to Playing and Landing Big Fish on a Fly. Floyd is a co-founder of the Catskill Fly Tying Guild and a member of the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum.
