With stories both perceptive and disarmingly simple, hilarious, and informative, Thomas takes us along to some of the worlds great places, fishing for species as regal as chinook salmon in Alaska, as humble as walleye in the Missouri River, and as mysterious as the red wekea small, possibly psychoactive goatfish of great ceremonial significance to native Hawaiians.
